Anna Bliss Scully

Anna trained in Theatre Design at Wimbledon School of Art. Her designs include: A Midsummer Night’s Dream for Young Vic: Love Shorts, The Morals of Modern Day Myths (The Splinter Group at Sherman Theatre Cardiff), However Do You Want Me? (Hen & Chickens), The Soldier directed by Gari Jones (Edinburgh Festival & RADA), Instant Karma and Last Night a DJ Saved My Life (both Edinburgh Festival), Buzz directed by Elen Bowman (touring for Sgript Cymru), Jacob Jacobson directed by David Schneider (Bloomsbury Theatre), Monster for Escape Artists (Royal Opera House & touring), Bash: Latterday Plays and Riddance (both for True/Fiction Theatre, of which Anna is Joint Artistic Director).

As assistant: Romeo & Juliet for Love & Madness (Bloomsbury Theatre), Spa, a site-specific production at Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Hospital, The Marriage of Figaro and Orpheus In The Underworld (both for British Youth Opera), Goethe’s Faust (site-specific) directed by Firenze Guidi, Mystery Bouffe and Animal Farm (all for National Youth Theatre of Wales).

Anna’s work in film and television includes: Dawn for Fiction Factory, The Last Client directed by Diene Petterle, A Higher Agency (winner of 4 Awards at New York First Run Festival), Ten Minutes Older: Addicted to the Stars directed by Michael Radford and In the City directed by Michael Bogdanov.
