John Sheerman's acting credits include work at the Orange Tree and other London theatres, various Edinburgh venues and on tour. He has featured in several short films and last year was the face of British Gas alongside Ricky Tomlinson.
Roles include King Lear in King Lear, Dan in Closer, Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night, Hibbert in Journey's End and Alan Turing in Activated Image's The Principle of Motion, of which one critic wrote: "John Sheerman's mesmerically abstracted Alan Turing conveys more of the man than any number of paragraphs".
John trained at Mountview and studied at Bristol. Last year he directed Into The Woods with Mel Smith at the New
Theatre, Oxford for Eyebrow Productions.
