Nicola Herring

Nicola plays the part of Liz in Activated Image's production of Patience by Jason Sherman.

Nicola was born and brought up in North London before studying English at the University of Liverpool and then training at Drama Studio, London. She trained in physical theatre with a variety of companies in Liverpool. Recent theatre includes: Ada in Hobson's Choice (Birmingham Rep), Ariel in The Tempest (Wales Actors Company tour of castles), Ben Hur (BAC), Dummy (dir. Lucy Pitman Wallace), Time and the Conways (Latchmere Theatre), Beauty and the Beast (Unity Theatre, Liverpool), Indecent Desires (Lyric, Hammersmith) and The Canterville Ghost and Cathy in Wuthering Heights for ACT (French National tour).

She has been very involved in new writing and devising/ work shopping new material at the Young Vic. TV and Film includes: The Great Eastern (BBC2), Generation (Tale Films) The Bilsons (Anglia TV), I Hate Myself (BBC 2), Dust and Stones (LFS), Brookside and various commercials. Amongst other things Nicola enjoys running long distances, writing, dancing, and learning to play the flute.
