Russell Bentley

Russell plays the parts of Paul and Rabbi in Activated Image's production of Patience by Jason Sherman.

Russell studied at Brunel University and trained as an actor at the Central School of speech and Drama. Previous credits at the Finborough, Destiny of Me (Number one critics choice in the Evening Standard for three weeks). Other theatre includes Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, (runner up in the Scotsman Amnesty International award at last year's Edinburgh fringe festival), Old Wicked Songs(Bristol Old Vic and West End transfer to The Gielgud), Waiting For Lefty (The James Menzies Kitchin directors award) and The Cradle will Rock (both at the BAC), Spoils of War (Young Vic Studio), Roaring Lions (London New Play Festival at the Lyric Hammersmith), Tower of Bagel (Soho Theatre), Bitter Fruits of Palestine (The John Caird Company), Angel (Old Vic- Old Vic/Youg Vic Season), A Doll's House (New End Theatre), Dare (Bloomsbury Theatre), Foxhole(Old Red Lion).
