From 1998 to 1999 Activated Image operated as a student drama company, producing two shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with a strong emphasis on multimedia.
 

dream.2000, performed in Cambridge and Edinburgh in 1999, explored our growing obsession with reality TV, imagining a gameshow where contestants’ dreams were broadcast around the world. This was the company’s first foray into devised theatre.
